Ieno Textile

Ieno Textiles, meaning home textiles in Japanese, is the enterprise born from the young designer Dan Namura’s genuine passion for fabrics.

Descending from a lineage of designers tracing back to Yuzenzome craft – the highly skilled dyeing and weaving of kimono fabrics in Kyoto, Namura made his own impact on the world when he was selected as a the first non-European “trend setter” for Heimtextil in Frankfurt.

Namura has also participated in other global exhibitions including Maison&Objet in Paris, Tendece in Frankfurt and IFFT in Tokyo.Namura’s unique ideas are born in workspaces in Japan, India and Paris and Ieno Textile products have a similarly global feel, inspired by city cultures around the world.

Ieno Textiles has a philosophy of sustainability with its products manufactured in Japan, Turkey, India and Belgium using safe and sustainable materials.
