YUKAR

A new collection by Naoto Fukasawa

for Conde House.

The first collaboration between Naoto Fukasawa and Conde House resulted in KAMUY, a dining furniture collection. KAMUY means holy spirits in the language of Hokkaido’s indigenous people (Ainu), which has grown to be one of our most popular collections. YUKAR means epic poems in Ainu language. We, by naming these consecutive collections as KAMUY and YUKAR, express our feeling of awe and appreciation to Nature.

Arm Detail - Yukar Sofa

The sofa is featured by the tapered legs, finely-designed arm shape, and broad solid-wood back rail. All the applied finish colors are selected to match the wood character of the sofa to create a warm atmosphere. By changing the positions of the optional cushions, users can make their own sofa according to their use and taste.

Yukar Sofa + Ottoman

The width of the armchair cushion is the same as one of the sofa cushions (sofa 200). Conforming with the size of the armchair, the ottoman is designed also in the same width. When the armchair is arranged in a row with the sofa 200 as shown in the above image, it creates a big sofa set reaching to three meters in total width.

The round table has two sizes different in diameter and height, and its simple design makes the beauty of the solid-wood top more appealing. The range of application is wide: good to arrange the two different-size tables together as it is shown in the image; also good to set it up with any items other than YUKAR family as a center table or side table.
