Keep ShoppingThis chair is named “Kaki no isu” because the elliptical backrest resembles a persimmon seed.
The compact back supports the back in the right place, making this chair very comfortable to sit on, not only as a dining chair but also as a working chair. The backrest can either be wood or upholstered. For the upholstered version, the fabric or leather is attached only on the front side. The Kaki no Isu is very gentle, combining curves and roundness.
The chair is compact, comfortable, and stable, even for a lot of weight. The section from the legs to the frame supporting the seat and the columns extending to the backboard has an elliptical shape. These curved columns combined with the round shape of the backrest make this model charming.
