As an addition to the AA STOOL series, this new AA WIDE STOOL has been developed. Having the original AA STOOL intended to be used by stacking them in pairs, the new stool has been designed with a bigger seat that is braided with paper cords - offering more comfort on a single stool. Besides being able to stack in multiples and/or be used separately, the function of the stool is open-ended where people can decide its usage as they wish.

Ishinomaki Laboratory
Ishinomaki Laboratory pushes the horizons of DIY through the power of design. Founded in 2011 as a public workshop for a community devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami, it began by running workshops and rebuilding local shops - then launched its label to share its honest, handmade furniture with the world.
Talented designers from Japan and abroad work alongside the Ishinomaki team to create benches, stools, shelves and tables with a frank, functional beauty and a meaningful story. Explore the collection at APATO, Australia's home of authentic Japanese designer furniture, and enquire for lead times and trade pricing.
