The Challenge dining chair is a study in the application of technology; The back-legs make up the frame for this sublime chair and have been shaped using the precision of both computer-programmed (CNC) 3-d machines and the hand work of master craftspeople and engineers. The result is a meticulously constructed piece of modern furniture. The juxtaposition of smooth curves and sharp edges gives the Challenge an elegant sculptural appeal.

About Hoffman Kayleyss Design
Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss founded their studio in Hamburg in 2012. They aspire to give their products a unique and subtle character without forcing them into the foreground.
