The open design of the Fold shelf shows beautiful patterns of light and shadow, which requires special attention to details in every aspect of the manufacturing process. We named this product “Fold”, as it looks as if it can be folded by the alternately matched boxes. The Fold is also suitable for use as a room divider since it can be used from any four aspects.
The joints appear seamless, as though single boards have been bent and interwoven like paper chains or a woven textile. It’s virtually impossible to know, looking at the shelves, how the parts are connected.
