Keep ShoppingThis series represents the beautiful curves envisioned by Mr. Stüre Eng, brought to life through advanced molding techniques. Since its introduction in 2007, it has maintained steady popularity as Conde House's personal chair. It is available in walnut and Hokkaido oak.
The personal chair is characterized by a design that seamlessly integrates into the space without imposing. Its beautiful curves, designed with consideration for low back usage, not only facilitate easy sitting and standing but also provide a comfortable seating experience that perfectly fits the body.
The wood components extending from the arms to the legs feature Mr. Stüre's distinctive lines, expressing a sense of lightness through varying thicknesses. Despite appearing delicate, these wood components are crafted using advanced molding techniques that intricately control thin layers, resulting in the desired shapes. The curved layers visible on the sides are depicted beautifully, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the design.

“It’s difficult to talk about a design philosophy because it’s like talking about how to think and work. I believe the process of my thought as a designer starts from open thinking, and it boils down to useful ideas. I sometimes start the process from sketching something, while I come up with good ideas to be a work plan with which I try to find suitable design languages to express a particular form. What I’m now interested in is to work on a model in the scale of 1:1 by hand to check dimensions, etc. I’ve been going on about my design philosophy, but what is most important is a relationship of trust with the production side that I cooperate with.” - Sture Eng
